Our Team
We are a student group comprising Shannon, En Jia, Sree, Thesa, and Azann from NUS College, united by a mission to uplift Ubon Ratchathani through economic empowerment, education, and community building.
We chose bamboo because it is strong — environmentally, economically, traditionally, and sustainably. It represents the perfect intersection of what we value and what the region needs.
People often view economic growth and environmental sustainability as opposites, as if choosing one means giving up the other. At Bamboobon, we believe these goals can be integrated. Progress doesn’t have to come at the planet’s expense.
None of this would be possible without the unwavering support of our incredible on-site team in Thailand, led by Mr. Sommai Chinnak. Their deep-rooted commitment drives the change we hope to build together.
